PK Stud is a family run business with a vision to breed and produce quality sports horses with a focus on showjumping.
We have been established for almost 20 years and in this time we have been able to offer an excellent selection of horses. We decided on PK as it stands for Peter and Kelly (the owners of the venture) and is short and simple to brand.
Peter is a professional showjumper and has competed upto 1.50m level himself with his main focus now on training young showjumpers. He has worked at a number of top stables throughout Europe to gain valuable experience of how different systems work. He has produced a number of talented horses including the London 2012 Olympic finalist Avenzio (Santafee). Peter is a UKCC Level 3 qualified coach and is able to offer training for every level of horses and rider.
Kelly runs the admin side of the business having previously worked in sales yards and competed upto 1.20m level herself. She has a natural way with the horses, enjoys the breeding and in particular dealing with the broodmares, foals and youngstock. Kelly continues to have success producing and competing the horses.
